Lilian Mbau, MD, MPH, MSc is a Public Health and Preventive Cardiovascular Medicine Specialist with over 15 years of experience.

She is currently a Technical Advisor at the Centre for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation (CCPR) in Kenya, an organization dedicated towards shifting the focus towards cardiovascular disease (CVD) prevention.

Dr. Mbau was recently the CEO of the Kenya Cardiac Society (KCS) and has actively participated in development of various national policy documents and advocacy for prioritization of CVDs. She is an alumna of the WHF Emerging Leaders Program. She is a member of the American College of Cardiology, International Council for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation and WHF Advocacy Committee.
